This book explores and celebrates the link between food and culture and endeavours to resurrect some elided portions of India's heritage cuisine. It is based on 6 Seasons and 8 Prahar ( Unit of Time) It would be extremely heartening to see the custodians of our `kitchen religion', especially temple cooks from the rural areas and pilgrim towns becoming a part of the cuisine culture of our cities.
