Khel Khel Mein

A pre-school where learning begins with wonder

Khel Khel Mein

(Freedom of Thought. Freedom of Action)

It gives me utmost joy to personally share with you a new journey I have embarked on which was in my thoughts for a long time to open a Play School for underprivileged children of 2 1/2 -4years. It has been proven that 80% growth of the Child happens in the first 5 years of age.

Our school Khel Khel Mein is primarily based on the principles of Swami Vivekananda teachings who emphasized the importance of a Holistic Child Development, focusing on physical strength, mental clarity and spiritual growth. His vision was about nurturing the inherent potential of each child, fostering a strong body and mind and empowering them to become confident, self-reliant and positive individuals.

We aim to adapt JJ Krishnamurthy’s way of viewing schools as not just a place for academic learning, but as a Home away from Home, where the children would be free from fear and external influences, where they can explore their natural curiosity and learn through self- directed activities at their own pace.

Khel Khel Mein has also been influenced by Sri Aurobindo and Fun Academy of Finland. Our school is held by the four pillars of learning, learning to know, learning to do, learning to live life together and learning to be.

It is a Play School where the children would learn by play. There are, however, many types of play learning – digital play, creative play, active play, social play and free play. It would be an environment for keen observations of a child’s natural behaviour and their unique interests and strengths which can then be nurtured. It would be our goal to create a fearless and stress-less environment which would remove competition and comparison. The teacher would have deep love and connect with the children. We would aim to have smaller schools so individual attention can be given to the child.

Our aim is to try and prepare the child to be a valuable citizen of our country.
Interestingly, Fun Academy where students in Finland begin their learning journey with & No Homework or Mandated Standardized Tests. They spend their time playing, exploring, and learning to learn. As a result Finland had a 100% literacy level.

I do hope to get your Encouragement and Support.

Namaskar!
